Collaboration with Great Divide. I drank it at the brewery.
Very dark brown color with a thin thick caramel head with decent retention.
Aroma with predominant notes of cherries, dark chocolate, licorice, vanilla and lactic acid.
Flavor with notes of dark chocolate, a decent amount of cherries, black pepper, cocoa nibs, pine and wood. Dry and bitter aftertaste with a roasted and cherry finish.
Velvety full body with perfect carbonation. Alcohol of 10% is superbly well hidden.
Perfectly executed RIS with bold cocoa and cherry notes. The collaboration with Great Divide, who are specialists in the style, paid off.
