We meet again Bodebrown. This time it's a Black Rye IPA, coming from a dark labeled 500 ml bottle (thanks Sergio!). On to the beer:

As you guessed, its color is ink black and is topped with a rich creamy head on top which leaves webs of lace around the glass. The aroma has some bittersweet chocolate, a kiss of nail polish, decent note of hops and a vague spicy note. It does taste good, though those expecting an all-out hop assault may be disappointed. Chalky, bittersweet chocolate is the dominant note, while the hops are distant from the base. The alcohol is hidden, its body on the smooth side, and bitterness gentle. Tasted blind, this could be confused for a stout.

Deep dark mahogany color. Made three fingers of head, consistent and persistent.
Delicious aroma with predominance of passion fruit and citric fruits.
Heavy body with high density and low carbonation with tiny bubbles.
Hops are predominant in its flavor (well, it is over 60 IBUs), also very fruity and bitter.
On the background and then coming upfront you can feel the toasted malt and rye, caramel and a hint of coffee. This continues in the aftertaste along with its bitterness and dryness.
Great beer, Bodebrown was able to balance the extremes. Love it.
Ps. Tried not to influence in the grade to the fact that having it at the brewery talking to the brewer was really nice.
