Had the 2020 version that is labeled as a Strong Ale at 8 percent (and no mention of JDubs). Poured a reddish-copper body with minimal head and lace patches down glass. The aroma is clean and citrusy with a rather light maltiness to it. Smooth, medium body, tad chewy, the malts are strong but not heavy. Mild sweetness to beer, kind of like caramel, that lies underneath a mildly bitter citric and floral hoppiness with touch of oiliness on finish.
