Arrives pitch black, no light penetration, small, light tan head.
Smell is rich, full of malty, whiskey notes and some dark fruits in the back.
Taste is malty, whiskey, raisins light molasses and smoke. Great balance.
Almost full bodied, lightly effervesced. Smooth, creamy, seriously easy to drink. I'll take a gallon or three. A huge improvement over the base brew.
