I am not usually a Kolsch drinker but this has become a favorite of mine when I am in St. Pete. Pours clear and golden just like a good lager should. The smell is grass and grains. The taste is what sets it apart. The higher ABV than normal for the style means a fuller beer with more body but they manage to execute it in a way that still results in a crisp finish. Mouth feel is similar to a lager. Overall a really enjoyable beer to drink at the bar or the picnic tables outside. This beer is one of the best kept secrets on the St. Pete brewing scene.
