22oz pre-release bomber into a Hoffman House Chalice.
A - Very deep brown to black with a very small brown head. No visible carbonation, minimal lacing.
S - Licorice, vanilla, cocoa, and bourbon. Mesmerizing.
T - Sweet chocolate, coffee and restrained vanilla with deep plum and anise notes. Finish has a distinct sweet cocoa taste with a mild bourbon heat.
M - Heavy body with very light carbonation; creamy.
O - Vibrant and tasty, would not know this beer is pushing 10%.
