8oz glass at Beer Revolution YEG Oliver Square. I'm guessing that this is made for the Murrieta's restaurant in Canmore, and somehow got into general release on Connect, as usual.

This beer appears a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with one finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and somewhat bubbly bone-white head, which leaves some decent pockmarked limestone wall lace around the glass as things slowly sink away.

It smells of grainy and gritty cereal malt, some flinty stoniness, subtle muddled domestic citrus rind, and very tame leafy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is bready and crackery pale malt, a still mixed citrus peel fruitiness, some damp minerality, and more understated earthy, leafy, and grassy hoppiness.

The carbonation is adequate in its palate-assuring frothiness, the body an adequate middleweight, and generally smooth, with nothing really causing any sort of ruckus at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the malt and hops showing some lingering chutzpah.

Overall - this comes across as a pleasantly rendered version of this typically wan sub-style, with little dropoff, mouthfeel-wise, which is always a nice experience. Cool that I got to try it, without having to traipse my way down to Canmore, which I would otherwise strangely (and unexpectedly, believe you me) like to do right now.
