Benefit brew supporting the Bow Valley SPCA. All proceeds go to support medical and operational expenses.
Appearance - Pours an amber copper with two fingers of bubbly white head that recedes quite slowly.
Smell - belgian yeast, clove, coriander, pepper, spicy floral and earthy hops, and biscuity malts.
Taste - belgian yeast, clove, coriander, and pepper upfront. Then the malts make their presence known followed with a nuttiness that wasn't in the aroma. The hint of spicy floral and earthy hops rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes smooth with the yeast lingering.
Overall - A pleasant Belgian Pale Ale that boasts a nice malt and yeast flavour. Worth buying a bottle or two to help support a non-profitable organization.
