2020 SPCA Benefit beer.
A "Canadian Cereal Ale"
Proceeds will be donated to the Bow Valley SPCA in efforts to support medical and operational expenses.
Appearance - Pours a hazy straw with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, floral, and weedy hops, bready, biscuity, and grainy malts, lemon, citrus, hay aromas, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, floral, and weedy hops upfront then quickly goes into the bready, biscuity, and grainy malts. The lemon, citrus and hay aromas follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and slightly off-dry with the hops and malts lingering.
Overall - A pleasant ode to Odin as this is highly sessionable that packs a flavour punch. This one is going to good cause and will fare quite well with folks visiting the brewpub or those that are able to grab a can or two. Another flavourful one-off from the Grizzly Paw!
