Pours a near-clear dark straw yellow, perhaps very pale amber, just a few shades darker than a typical lager. On the nose, big caramel and bready malts, and these carry through into the taste. The malt profile is good, almost spot on for the style, so big ups for that. Not hoppy at all really. It would have been nice to have a bit of those Noble hops to balance it out and make it a bit more complex, but I guess this is better than using a lot of Pine-Sol or vomit tasting North American hops. The carbonation is a bit prickly with bigass bubbles, other than that it goes down okay. Overall it's a decent imitation of the style with a solid malt profile.

Appearance - Pours a copper amber with three fingers of frothy bubbly white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, floral hops, bready and biscuity malts, hint of apple, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, floral hops upfront. The brew then goes into the bready and biscuity malts, slight hint of apple. and caramel. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky from the malts along with a pleasant smoothness.
Overall - A pleasant easy drinking malt forward märzen that is flavourful. A nice brew to celebrate Oktoberfest in Germany. Prost!
