Our seasonal dark lager pairs best with PB, banana & bacon sandwiches, karaoke crooning, sparkly jumpsuits and loving someone tenderly. Indulge yourself and drink like a king.

Poured from a growler purchased at Collective here in Cowtown.
Appearance - Pours a dark nut brown with three fingers of off-white head.
Smell - earthy leafy, and floral hops, cocoa, milk and dark chocolate, roasted malts, smoky aromas, hint of dark fruits (plum and raisin), and earthy yeast.
Taste - light earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront followed quickly into the cocoa, milk and dark chocolate. The roasted malts, dark fruits (plum, and raisin) come through next. The smoky characteristics are there but are overpowered by the chocolate notes. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth with the cocoa and roasted malts lingering.
Overall - An enjoyable seasonal offering from Grizzly Paw. I like how the roasted malts and cocoa take precedence in this brew. A pleasant tipple on this mild Cowtown evening.
