When I went to Augsburg a few weeks ago I wasn't really looking around for breweries, and I only ended up going to this one. I kind-of just stumbled upon it.
Me and my friends immediately went to the Biergarten. It was quite and nice. They have about 8 Meminger beers and 3 "home-brewed" beers. I tries the Weien and Maibock. Initially the Maibock had an odd off-flavor but it got better. It isn't the best beer but it isn't rubbish, kind of average.
The brewer, Claus, is friendly and attentive. He seemed to be the only employee. We got there just before the tie he started serving food.
There is also a card that he gives you that you can fill up and get another beer. It is worth at least a stop for a beer or two.
