I had this on-tap in a goblet at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.
Appearance: extremely dark brown; indeed, nearly black. Weird for the style but also great.
Smell: light Berliner tartness with a good caramel character. Weird and enticing.
Taste: quite tart up front with a subtle caramel sweetness and a little roastiness toward the end. I dig it.
Mouthfeel: light body but a big carbonation and creaminess. Great as well.
Overall: I love odd beers. This is odd, tasty and drinkable. Woo!
