Gose with usual mineral salt but had added flavors of key lime and blood orange. Kind of a shocking flavor combination at first, but grew on me. Sour, dry, and highly carbonated.

poured from a 16oz can into a perennial willi becher glass. pours a semi hazy burnt orange with almost three fingers of bright white head. smells of assorted bitter / sour fruits. lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit and even a touch of barnyard funk. i’m not in love with the look or smell of this beer to be honest. taste is similar but exchange the funk with salty tartness. this has a little of that “pucker up buttercup” taste to it. it doesn’t linger though and it’s not too acidic. pretty light and refreshing yet full of flavor for a low ABV beer. the sourness keeps me from chugging it and makes it more of a slowly consumed pour. feel is bubbly and carbonated but it works for this style. this is very much a summer beer. i think i enjoy (appreciate) the simplicity of regular suburban beverage but respect the more complex flavors and aroma of this variant. i definitely wouldn’t say no to this and would very much welcome it poolside on a hot summer day.
