Flavored with toasted hickory bark and brewed in collaboration with master foragers aka the Ranger Rick's of zymurgy, Illinois' Scratch Brewing. Big woody notes, a sappy sweetness, and a faint feint of smokey forest fire flannels in the finish. Scratch continue rocking them country hits.

Wee heavies aren't always the most interesting of beers but the addition of the hickory bark adds a nice character to both the smell and taste which goes quite well with the base beer. Just the right amount of hickory flavor.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
