This hazy wheat IPA is brewed with a heavy hand of red wheat, white wheat and flaked wheat, and then dry-hopped heavily with equal parts Mosiac, Huell Melon and Mandrina

This hazy, dull orange brew has an off-white blanket and features weirdly sweet flavors of hard candy and Smarties, but a also kind of astringent acidity, yet it's got a soft fluffy body.

Poured a cloudy yellow gold body with good head and spicy, zesty aroma. Fuller bodied, smooth, sweet yeast aspect, peppery zip and mild citric hop zest with good balance and beer holds up and it's easy to drink.

On tap at Ray-J's in MN.
This IPA seemed like it was going for the tropical hazy NE style, but it was just a bit too bitter to be at that level. It was drinkable and somewhat fruity, but a bit off imo.

man i cant believe this is rated higher on here. i could have sworn this was fruited, like kiwi or pineapple or yellow plum or something in here, the hop complexion gives it this extraordinary fruity flavor that is entirely unique to my palate, amazing its not fruited, i am literally shocked. wheat based ipa, heavily dry hopped but super light overall, with a really ripe juicy nose on top of the white wheat, and more than a suggestion of tangerine, kiwi, white grape, its pretty remarkable. the flavor is even more pronounced with these fruity, apparently hope derived notes, a bit floral as well, very springtime, with the wheat malt staying light and clean through this, not really fattening it up at all. bitterness is below average for an ipa here, and carbonation is exasperated. its something very unique, especially with this most righteous hop complexion, mandarina and some others maybe? i am surprised this isnt getting a bit more fanfare, its pretty outstanding ipa. perennial has seemed to go back under the radar lately with a lot of their beers, but the quality across the board remains near the top. this is an exciting mix of hops in a real drinkable brew, super enjoyable this time of year!
