Fruits of Labor is a series of intensely fruited foeder-aged mixed fermentation beer. First aged for many months in one of our large format French Oak foeders, we then move the mature beer into stainless steel on top of a massive amount black currants and boysenberries.

Foeder aged ale was nice and tasty with the added black currants and boysenberries. Naturally fermented easy drinker. Beautiful white plumy pour with a rich purple red berry colored base. Rich nose and plenty of wood, funk and fruit in the taste. Served a bit cold, but really came around after it warmed a bit to something closer to cellar temp.
A bit bright on carbonation; not as gentle as other spon beers I like.
Overall while a very early shot at spon beers for PAA... Would hold up well crossmatched to more heralded European and American naturally fermented fruit fwd beers.
Really nice brew.

375ml bottle, snifter glass. Darker purple brown body, one finger pink head, good retention. A bit of lacing. Smell is big boysenberry and currant. Heavy vinegary acetic acidity. Minimal oak, a bit of acetone. Flavour is pretty much massive acidic berries and vinegar. Not too much complexity beyond that. Medium lighter bodied, has a bit of that tannic fruit, heavy acetic acidity, fairly darn sour.

poured from a 375mL bottle into a perennial wine glass. pours a deep purple with light purple head which disappears quickly. smells of jammy dark fruits, mild oak and even milder acidity. taste is fruit forward, jammy with a nice oak presence. not too sour. mouthfeel starts full but finishes a little on the thinner side. overall, a delicious oak-aged offering that focuses on the fruiting aspects and pulls it off well.
