Chasing the Horizon is the latest in our series of "hazy lite" IPAs. We paired a fruity British yeast strain with Pearl, a base malt from a centuries old, family owned British maltster. This IPA has big doses of Sabro, Simcoe and Columbus in the dry hop, evoking aromas and flavors of sweet tropical fruits, juicy citrus, with a hint of dank pine. Elicits memories of finishing your shift, getting into your ride and heading into a sunset over the Flatirons.

the can dates in a few days so I can't give it a fair rating but it does taste oaty and there seems to be some experimenting with the grist which is fun. I hope I can just try this fresh,

Pale yellow in color with a hazy complexion. There’s a fingernail of eggshell white around the rim and covering most of the top. Light lacing. The aroma is of oranges. I’m tasting oranges and earthy hops. The mouth is smooth and refreshing.

On draft. Poured a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange, mango, pineapple and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp bitterness.
