Since we couldn’t find any blood orange this summer, we decided to throw a swimming pool's worth of grapefruit and tangerine into the fermenter instead. The result, after a full refermentation, is a balanced little summer crusher oozing with scents of fresh grapefruit zest and a freshly opened Ski soda. Pleasantly tart, slightly salty and finishes with a touch of sweetness, this brew will certainly make you feel alright. Drinking Paloma Suburban Beverage reminds us of that hungover early day Real Estate set at Pitchfork in 2012, poolside frozen Palomas in that annoying August heat and trippy Haribo grapefruit slices.
