A fantastic 6.2% hazy IPA! A lot of flaked and malted oats in the mash, whirlpooled with Cascade, then a heavy dry-hop with Citra and Mosiac.

Hazy, golden in color with a medium-sized, brilliantly white head. The aroma is really floral, with some ripe fruit up front. The taste is balanced, with a subtle, almost herbal, hop note. Medium body. Its an interesting beer, but not particularly interesting or exceptional. I expect really good things from this brewery...this is average.

I love Perennial but this NE IPA is disappointing. Looks like it should but then down hill from there. Aroma is almost non-existent. Taste is nice but where is that pop from the citra and mosaic? Almost what you might expect from a session IPA but this does not have a session ABV IMHO.
