It all started with an Instagram story: "Have you ever experienced sexism in the beer industry?" The resulting stories would send shockwaves through the brewing industry as people spoke out about gender discrimination, racism, sexual assault and harrassment they experienced.
To honor those who shared their stories and to bring further awareness to the issues that women, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals face, we instituted an inclusive code of conduct so we could participate in this global collaboration.
Our friends at Third Wheel also did the work of creating a code of conduct in order to join us in making this 4.5% pale ale.
Sabro and Mosaic hops invoke fruit stripe tropical aromas that open up to the light bodied hazy pale that explodes with orange, pineapple and melon notes.
Our version finishes slightly dry with a soft lingering hop finish.
A portion of proceeds from this beer will benefit St. Louis Against Sexual Assault which is a survivor led organization currently working towards creating prevention training and certification for the service industry.
