A new lager brewed for our friend Michael Kennedy and his family to celebrate a great man. Brewed with American grown base malt, flaked corn and flaked rice, and American grown Zuper Saazar hops. Fermented cold with a favorite Czech lager yeast strain and lagered even colder for multiple weeks before being packaged. Drinking this beer reminds me of grassy triscuits, weekday afternoon games at Busch Stadium and celebrating family members.

Alright let's review a Missouri beer, from the state I believe that will be next to cross my 100 beers reviewed threshold.
Pours a very feint, light yellow with massive clarity into an MKE (Milwaukee) pint glass. 1" white head. It looks like a 3% light beer in terms of its malt heft appearance wise. Sometimes less is more. The aroma was almost exclusively cereal grain like. Hops and yeast largely escaped detection in the nose.
Taste was decent, a hop smack occurred that wasn't noticeable in the nose. It wasn't heavy, just big relative to its lack of aroma and lower malt bill. A twang if you will. Couldn't tell if it was noble hops. It was just pretty much bitterness, so a good chance they were. Hits those lemongrassy notes. Still couldn't taste the yeast, seemed very neutral as a lager. I'm guessing the adjunct was something lighter than barley given the appearance and mouthfeel. Decently average run of the mill craft adjunct lager here.

Pours a slightly unfiltered straw color with a soapy white head that provides a decent amount of lacing. Looks really nice in the glass.
The nose has a nice bit of noble hop notes, and there’s also bready malt notes and a nice bit of sweet corn, which is more pronounced on the taste and balanced by the spicy noble hop favors.
The mouthfeel is clean and crisp, adding the drinkability of this very crushable American lager. Perennial rocks bigly.

Translucent yellow color with white head. Nice crispness, bitter hops, bread taste from the malts. There is a dank weed taste that’s mildly unpleasant.

poured from a 16oz can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a straw gold with a two finger soapy white head. floral hops up front on the nose with subtle bready malts. taste follows with a subtle spicy hop component. still get a floral hop presence as well as a decent maltiness but the nose didn’t have that spicy of an aroma to it. medium-full mouthfeel; fairly crisp but think more along the line of a helles lager. pretty tasty stuff!
