Imperial stout with Vanuatu vanilla beans aged in Old Forester barrels. A blend of 67% aged 17 months and 33% aged 16 months.

poured from draft into a snifter. pitch black. no head. earthy oak and bourbon with a dessert-like vanilla frosting layer to it. taste follows. it has a slick, full mouthfeel that makes you want to sip and savor this beer. really solid. i very much enjoy the fact that it’s not in-your-face vanilla. it integrates so well with the base stout and the oak barrels. very well done.
