A - Opaque body, black with brown-red highlights, a short tan head, quick fade to minimal wisps over the top, not much lacing, but a fine looking brew regardless.
S - Quiet nose when cold, the coffee and sweet malts and spun sugar coming forward as it warms, with a bit of chocolate.
T - The flavor is forward with chocolate and coffee, a mocha delight, with a slightly acidic and bitter finish to clear the tongue.
M - For the ABV, the weight is moderate, a drinkable stout with mild carbonation, and just a bit of dryness in the close.
O - Superb imperial stout, with great flavor and wonderful feel. It is bigger than I typically seek most days, but quite satisfying and enjoyable.
