Perennial Artisan Ales

Gold in color with a hazy complexion. There’s a half inch of frothy eggshell white on top. The aroma is of grapefruit. I’m tasting grapefruit and light, crackery malt. The mouth is lightly sticky, moderately carbonated, and crisp.

Slightly hazy copper color with a modest but lasting white head and some nice lacing.
The aroma is citrus and pine with a light caramel malt background.
The taste is grapefruit, pine resin and light caramel, slightly sweet, moderate bitterness, good balance.
The body is light/medium, good carbonation level, fairly smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a fairly typical American IPA, good balance, tasty and refreshing, nice.
