Poured from a black-waxed 750mL bottle into a Perennial SdC tumbler. Pours thick and oily black with a thin dark mocha foam cap that fades quickly away. Lots of chocolate on the nose with a little bourbon and tame vanilla. Taste follows. More chocolate than vanilla. The vanilla is there but it lends to a heavier chocolate flavor. Slight dark fruit flavor to the finish. Thick mouthfeel. Really good. Not overly sweet. Well balanced.
