On-tap at Northdown. One of the most anticipated beers of the day. Served in a tulip.

A - White foam settles to absolutely nothing. Transparent fuchsia body.

S - Loads of blackberry and tropical funk, with some light lactic acidity to it. Very little oak, and definitely on the sweet and fruity side of things.

T - The taste has more fruity acidity and lactic tartness to it, with minimal funk. Very juice-like, with a very neutral malt backdrop. I'm glad they didn't call this a Flanders, as there's very little malt complexity.

M - Lower carbonation, perhaps a tad watery. Medium body, with minimal alcohol presence. Some lingering tooth-coating candy/juice stickiness to it.

D - A nice beer, but lacking a bit in the depth department. Really easy to drink, but perhaps needed some additional age for the wild yeast to impart more complexity. I'd drink it again for sure, particularly if had a few more months to develop more tartness and funk.
