Newbrew Thursday.
The beer pours a dull grapefruit colored light pink with a thin, loose white head. The nose introduces the lemon peel as a potently tart, super zesty, sour-ish lemon with a hint of blueberry skin tannins. The taste has the classic wheat base fighting for air against the omnipresent, potent, and zesty lemon peel and wild blueberry adjuncts. I'm really digging the nearly medium bodied, effervescent, tart, slightly dry mouthfeel for this beer. Franky, I think the blueberries are completely overpowered, yet this is my favorite non-sour blueberry beer so far.
