Green Room Brewing

Good local vibe. Not trendy or a tourist trap. Makes solid beer, especially the seasonals. Very dog friendly. Always has Baywatch on on one tv.

We went here after Southern Swells (so perhaps my opinion is lower than it ordinarily would have been), but this place simply wasn't very good. One positive was that service was outstanding. However, the atmosphere is dingy, and while the beer selection is wide, that doesn't matter if the beers aren't good. The Creamsicle sour was a creamsicle in name only - it tasted like if someone squeezed dirty dishwater into some lemonade and carbonated it (looked like it, too). The IPA and the quad I tried were just okay. The imperial stout was below average. I will give this place props for having the cheapest flight I've ever seen. Only way I can see myself returning is if I want to get tanked for cheap.

Outdoor seating is nice. Two separate indoor seating areas.
The beer is the draw though, and that is why I consider it a favorite brewery.
Service was always quick and a taste is always accommodated by the staff.
Excellent beer and a brewery I intend to return to.

 

Nice array of beers, with several styles represented across the board (with the exception of pilsners).

As for the quality of the beers, everything is passable, but little - if anything - is remarkable. Both IPAs I tried on tap had a bit of buttery sweetness, not strong enough to suggest a diacetyl issue or unclean lines, but present enough that it's slightly unpleasant.

The adjunct brews are creative and slightly better than average, but not remotely impressive at the same time.

There's nothing particularly inspiring or fun about the location or the vibe of the place - BUT, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging.

Green room is great. They have some excellent stouts and porters. Low key, and popular with locals. Back room has some games. Dog friendly!!!

 

A casual brewery with a moderate amount of space and an ever-changing list of beers. There seem to be at least 15 on tap at any time, with some regulars and some newbies. Good variety. Popular with locals.

On the main drag on Jax Beach, this laid back location is a relaxed oasis in a touristy place.
Beer selection is pretty big for a brewery of this size.
The staff is helpful without being in your face.
The brews are fresh and tasty and not a bad one in the bunch.

Small place with big crowds. This place is always packed. They have games in the back with, I think, a single tv. It's good times.

With complete lack of any expectations, this place blew me away. Near the beach unknown microbrew in jax spelled disaster but this place is awesome. Cheap flights, very very decent beer, and incredibly kind service. Love it

 

 

Not your average micro brewery. No food only great beer, friendly staff and patrons. Get your food delivered from anywhere around the area or bring it with you. Dog friendly with a great down home feel. Old school games like large connect four and ping pong in the back room. Had a lot of fun here! I love this place!

I love going to this brewery! The brewery is so well spread out. I love the fact that its dog friendly as well as kid friendly. Always a great selection of beers to choose from on their board. There is alot to do even if you don't like drinking beer. In the backroom you can play ping pong they have a bunch of board games as well. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and they have great bar prices. Cheers!
