Golden hues shine as the beer glistens in florida sunlight, however there is no detection of a rosy color as the can suggests. Slight hibiscus notes detected in the aroma, as well as a fruity undertone. This beer is light in taste, maintaining a delicate sour bite at the beginning, with a modest hint of something fruity. Little to no after taste. Pairs well with cheez-its.

It is an interesting attempt. I rather enjoy the sour, hibiscus taste. It is a clean and works for this area's look at me clientele. Refreshing, if in this area, but nothing that translates to greatness. Try it.

12 oz can, best by 10/1/18 oops.
Poured into tall New Glarus Pilsner Glass.
The pinkish hues described on the can from the hibiscus must have faded as this pours a very crisp gold color, oddly enough fitting the pilsner glass it's in. Tall fluffy head of 3 fingers, leaving lots of broken lace as it recedes.
Aromas are abundantly fruity - Fruit Stripe gum, wildberries, and bubblegum. Slight malt aroma behind that. Reminds me a bit of a girl's perfume or a dessert shop.
Flavor is biscuit malt and blackberry jam. Some sea salt. The hibiscus and hay are forthcoming, with slight bubblegum. Light plant material and wildberry soda on the finish.
Feel is clinging, with some crispness on the finish, and fairly clean throughout.
Overall, a pretty decent Gose that's not too sour or salty, and fits firmly in that spot when you want both a Pilsner AND a Gose. Not sure when that is, but there you have it.

From the pink can, it pours a nice light golden color with a modest head that slowly diminishes and leaves lacing. A bit of plant, possibly hibiscus (clueless as to the scent of it), in the nose. The mouth gets the same, a llight flowerly flavor in the mouth with the malt. Interesting!
