Giving the classic Imperial IPA a nudge in the more modern direction, Grayton Beer reaches for Galaxy, Strata and Vic Secret hops to offer that classic balance in taste a tangier, fruitier and racier edge. With this beer in hand, every day is a beautiful day.

Light golden and with a slight honey depth, 'Nother Beautiful Day releases a creamy white froth that plays host to a tropical bouquet with hints of citrus, spruce and gin-like botanicals. With a gentle malt sweetness seeming of honey, light caramel and a hint of graham cracker give a sweet and savory introduction.

Refusing to allow the malts to carry the show, its the hops that leap out on the middle palate to deliver a racy flavor of grapefruit, passionfruit, papaya, white grape, lime and lemon in a nearly wine-like taste. While the firmness of malts allow the fruit flavors to seem juicier and slightly toasted, hints of mango and pineapple come through. Trending classically bitter, the late taste shifts toward a more peppery, resinous and gripping bitterness in a tried-and-true IPA balance.

Full bodied but drying in finish, the slight heft of malts that linger on the tongue aid in supporting the hops even while the bitterness seems of verbena, sassafras, spruce, lemon pepper and hemp. The beer finishes clearly on the bitter side of bittersweet with a long hoppy linger of pine and tropical fruit peels.
