Copenhagen 28/2 2022. 33 cl chubby bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. What looks like a monk at a discotheque with his psalmbook and a lot of musical notes on the label. A campy design sending me back to the nineties.
Pours clear dark amber with a midsized offwhite head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a pleasant sweet, malty odor with a touch of sugar mingling with a light sourish scent. Toasted dark malts, brown sugar, dark fruits with a touch of alcohol. Whiff of sour cream.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is round and sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet toffee.
Solid Bruin doing more or less what it is supposed to.

330 ml. bottle. Firs of all, I must say it's about a month outdated, so this is not maybe a fair review, though I think it's in good condition yet. . Pours a dark brown colour, with a correct head that fades away soon. Tarty smell of fruits, sugar and alcohol esters. HInts of wood. Too much carbonation and too much sugar. Taste of fruits, caramel, sugar and coke. Why are there that many beers so carbonated and sugary that tastes like coke? To me, this is another one of those.

Poured into a tulip glass with a big foamy head. Dark color but not cloudy.
Smell was caramel and malt with a hint of hops.
A simple taste reflective of the smell, with the malt in the lead and the hops a close second.
Felt good in the mouth, smooth and warming.
All in all a very nice bruin.
