Good for stuffing your face with a hint of sophistication, and put panca fool yourself... enjoyed with a roast chicken television dog, what a delight!

Cork made a stomp sound when it was released.
Red brownish color with a fluffy head with low retention.
Grainy malt aroma with earthy and pine hop notes.
Sweet malty taste with strong notes of red fruits. Hints of condiments, salt and honey. Mild aftertaste, at least not really dry or bitter.
Medium body with medium carbonation. Booze is perceived in all stages from aroma to taste and finish. Though you should consider it is actually 9.2%, which is quite high especially for an Irish Red Ale.
I found it a bit unbalanced. A bit overly sweet and alcohol is not that harmonic, maybe because it lacks a bit more body, though it is sweet and has a malty taste. Not bad, but sure I would look for it again.

The alcohol content listed is not a typo, it's listed at 9.2% ABV. With that said, I have never seen or heard of an Irish Red being so strong, and for it to come out of Brazil makes it even more perplexing. Many thanks to srbcurti for this 750 ml corked and caged bottle. On to the beer:

The color looks like dark earth red, initially topped with a half-inch head before dropping to just a lace. Its aroma is huge, which may be expected from a beer of this strength. Lots of fruit in the nose, a little bread and earth, a great dose of banana, and bubblegum.

Huge taste, all while the alcohol is masked relatively well. There is a lot of fruit tasted, lots of esters pounding on the palate. That's not to be outdone by the banana and base malt, which creates a sturdy canvas. It could even be mistaken for a doppelbock, there's so muh malt. Its full bodied with smooth carbonation, finishing off this "Imperial Irish Red".

My first beer out of St. Gallen, and it's a hit. Good as it stands, though finishing an entire bottle on my own may be a stretch; invite a few friends and share this joy.
