Really well-balanced with good carbonation compared to most BBA stouts. I was told Standard Crude is the base beer. I don't like most BBA beers that much, but this one was special.

Reviewed from notes during CollaBREWtive Father's Day Brunch event @ Tiatro.

A: Pours jet black with a modest (1/4") tan head which leaves a few spots of lace.

N: Layers of bourbon and roasted coffee.

T: Well balanced, slightly sweet, not boozy at all. Bourbon playing with coffee.

M: Semi-full body and medium carbonation. Smooth, sticky, mellow coffee finish.

O: Surprised. Expecting more bourbon punch, but just right. Enjoyed. I'll have another.
