On tap at the LA Beer Week Kickoff Festival held at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky reddish-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour malt, fruit, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is still quite hoppy after being blended with the sour beer.
Serving type: on tap.
