Look: It pours golden and clear with a white head. It has very good head retention.
Smell: It has strong citrus aromas with some stone fruit and papaya. There are other light tropical fruits in the background.
Taste: It has strong citrus flavors with grapefruit and papaya. There are some piney notes with light tropical fruits in it.
Feel: It has a medium body which may be a touch on the slick side.
Overall, it has great hop flavors with a malt bill that lets the hops shine.

As the web site says Mosaic hops take center stage in this truly West Coast India Pale Ale. Also hopped with Cascade and Chinook.
Nice aroma, nice head, good lacing!
Taste is excellent. Nicely balanced.
Citrus and pine notes.
Definitely a winner!

Pours very light amber with a 1/2 inch white head. Moderate lacing. Slight haziness.
Aroma is floral, slight tangerine, pine, earthy, herbal.
Taste is citrusy, spicy, peach, mango, blueberry.
Medium bodied, lively carbonation. Slightly sweet, dry finish.
A quite good IPA. I could drink a case.

Beautiful light orange and mango hues and a fluffy lacey-for-days head adorn this uniquely tropical brew combining tart blueberries and pineapple tartness with other lush tropicals and earthy guava. Refreshing. Must have. Must have. Yes, I said that twice.

Once again, my co-worker Tina provided me with another 22 ounce bottle of El Segundo beer. Because Mayberry IPA is too mainstream, it's now time for the Wet Hopped version. A lupulin thrill awaits. On to the beer:
This beer has a tangerine colored body and a half-inch of head which shows some retention and a big splash of lacing. Hops await in the aroma, and there's plenty of goodness smelled. It's like a sweet tangerine with a piney character, grapefruit rind, and a melody of other juicy tropical fruits. It smells amazing....<drools on keyboard>.
The standard Mayberry IPA will put anyone in a good mood. This wet hopped version of Mayberry IPA could send me to the moon and back, as this is simply irresistible. It's not bitter, and the hops provide soft tropical and citrus fruits to my palate in spades. Tangerine, cantaloupe, grapefruit, passioinfruit, keep on coming! A whisker of alcohol works into the beer though it does not distract from the main event. The beer is very smooth in the mouth, slightly creamy, and so easy to drink.
I knew that El Segundo Brewing knew its way around a hop cone, but to give them wet hops would be the equivalent of giving Leonardo DaVinci the advantage of electricity to improve his arsenal of ideas and inventions. Wet hopped beers are always a treat, but sometimes I take the standard the wet hopped to a higher level. Wet Hopped Mayberry IPA blasts itself beyond my already high expectations and into my personal hall of fame of beers.
