Handsome clear yellow-amber brew, with plenty of foam in the Saxo tall tulip. Intensely fragrant with mango and lemon. Long citrus nose. This is the classic West Coast IPA but with more fruit, and just enough sweetness to carry all the hops.
Citrus peel flavor after you've been sipping awhile. Just a little heat to go with the maltiness. Some acidity on the tongue, and then the moderate bitter aftertaste adds some backbone. A better than average IPA with clean and massive hop flavors. From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery tap in El Segundo.
