Collaboration with Smog City Brewing.
We envisioned the Smogberry IPA as a new school version of one of our favorite beers, El Segundo Brewing's classic Mayberry IPA. We took their base concept of a Mosaic focused hop bomb and really kicked it up a notch with additions of Ekuanot and experimental HBC-586 hops to create a stone cold stunner of a 7% West Coast IPA.

Pours a clear golden amber with long-lasting foam in the Leute Bokbier glass. Lush and sudsy on the tongue. Aroma of citrus and berries. Flavors of orange, strawberries maybe, and a pleasant grainy finish. The aftertaste is moderately bitter. This is actually one of the better IPAs I've had this year. Highly drinkable with a restrained bitter edge to balance the fruity delights. From the 16 oz can purchased at BIne & Vine.
