On-tap at the Hudson House, on to the beer:
Looks honey yellow in the stange glass. There's good thick foam on top and the lacing is good as well. As a hophead, I gotta love that nose, which provides a crisp, clean aroma of fresh hops, pine, lime, and green tea.
Lots of hops in this pale ale. It's like this beer was "tea bagged" with hops. They just burst out. Touches of honey attempt the balance it out. It's crisp and pleasantly bitter, and quite refreshing.
El Segundo Brewing knows how to work the hops, and Hudson Pale Ale is just one example of that.
