Served in 12oz goblet. Poured a hazy/cloudy orange yellow color, with 1/4 inch of off white head that had good retention and great lacing.
The scent had a ton of bright citrus upfront, backed with some mellow malts. The beer was pretty much the same on the tongue, lots of citrusy hops across the palate, with mild grain undertones.
The beer was medium bodied, with a lingering bitter finish. Drinkability was pretty good, the beer went quickly and easily. Overall, a pretty nice brew, one worth a shot if you see it. On a side note, isn't a "Double Pale" just another term for "IPA"?
