355ml can poured into kitchen glass. The label promises that this beer will make me happy and it's probably right.
Pours a pale straw yellow with one finger of sudsy white head that leaves some bubbly lace as it recedes.
Smells of unsweetened breakfast cereal, apple and pear skin, lemon zest and some snappy noble hops.
Tastes of crispy cereal grain, more pomme fruit skin, bright citrus zest, clipped flowers and trimmed lawn.
Feels light and crisp. Light bodied with some zippy carbonation. Finishes off-dry.
Verdict: Recommended. I am indeed happy. A pretty pleasant pilsner with a bit of West Coast flavor.
