Had this at shelton fest last year and it was definitely a highlight for me. Tilquin acidity was muted down by the fruits. Kind of stone fruit like. Easy drinking without being overly tart. Nice and bright.

I drank at least 12oz. of this at Sheltonfest and it was fantastic. Fantastic foam head. Cloudy yellow-orange. Incredibly fruity aroma, lambic funk. Sourness in the flavor is muted, heavy fruit and the plums taste like peaches.

a neat fruited lambic made with a whole bunch of yellow plums, the first new beer i have had from these guys in years, but i hear more are coming around, looking forward to sourcing as many as i can, i think the tilquin lambic is one of my favorite bases in the game, and it responds so well to fruit like this. i think the yellow plums are cool, pulpy and a touch sweet in here, juicy and fleshy and natural in both aroma and flavor, and quite prominent too, ripe and interesting, they really bring a lot to the mix here. the base lambic still comes through in all its glory though too, sour but not overly acidic, funky and oaky like crazy, and with a neat vinous character that enhances the plum beautifully. subtle hints of white grape, elderflower, and peach, as well as quite a bit of carbonation activity that keeps this feeling light and lively even though the fruit adds some body. it reminds me of seaberry, tart but also sweet, skinny and tangy and covered in pollen, perfect with the lambic funk and tartness. really impressive stuff, i wish they would bottle some of these lambics with the less conventional fruits they do in this series. great beer, a highlight of a majorly heady session...
