Copper body with tints of pink, unfiltered and medium clarity, building a frothy, full head the colour of a light pink rose.
Aromas of red fruit and berries, married with a smoky, earthy must, it's a field in a glass - raspberry, currant, cranberry.; a dash of cinnamon, and the acidity & tart flavours are being teased.
Beautiful & bracing flavours that match the aroma, with red berries (raspberry, strawberry, red currant), grapefruit, must, and a tart yeasty tang; a pleasant acidity balances the fruit, as does a clean dry finish, only a touch of residual sugars; the feel is lightly sticky, a bit of jolly rancher, with sharp medium carbonation and a medium body.
Maybe I'm in a good mood, but this is wonderfully balanced, with a unique berry flavour that is a melange of familiar fruit.
