Bottle: Poured a golden color lambic with a large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some funky easter and some vinous notes with some grapes notes. Taste is also a good mix of tart notes with some funky ester and some vinous notes with light grapes notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Interesting graped based lambic.

This one has BGE, big grape energy. A light spice and fairly tannic. Aromas of fruity orange wine and horse saddle. Moderate acidity, slight pucker, lemony zing, finishes dry. There’s some dark berry fruit and minerality, grapes are well integrated, not a jammy fruit bomb. Effervescent, spritzy, hazy reddish orange. Overall it’s a nice one.

A 750ml corked and caged bottle, with a neck label of 2022-2023, and a best before date of 1st February 2033. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy pinkish orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly to a ring around the glass, while leaving only sparse lacing.
Aroma: Sparkly citric, candied mixed berries, fruity red to rose vinous, red wine grapes, grape skin, blueberries, lemon zest, 7-Up, with light woody notes and a touch of funk.
Taste: Lightly sour, candied sour mixed berries, blackcurrant, rose wine, red wine grapes, grape skin, lemon, lemon zest, with light notes of wood and funk.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: It may not be very complex, but the aroma and flavours just work for me, and I enjoyed it a lot.
