This beer is a lighter version of our Oude Rhubarbe Tilquin à l'ancienne. Same recipe with 250gr fresh rhubarb per liter, but lighter in alcohol, due to the use of a blend of 50% of Meerts and 50% of 1 and 2 years old lambics.

13 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours a clear straw yellow color with almost no head. Aroma and flavor feature strong acidity, oak tannins, leather, barnyard funk, and light fruitiness (I couldn't taste rhubarb specifically, sadly). It came across to me as an excellent lambic, not necessarily fruited. No off-notes, and surprisingly quaffable. Very tasty overall!

Had on tap, obviously. Orangey yellow body with a finger of white foam. Taste is sour rhubarb with decent acidic flair, big lambic funk meets to waltz beautifully on the palate with some lemon juice kick to boot. Nose is deeper and not really acidic, adds some flowers. Feel is sour and acidic more than anything, light bodied, funk doesn't develop much in the sip. Will be curious to see how this compares with the bottle in my cellar. Given the acidic youth of this, I will let it sleep for a bit
