Colour is orange golden, decent soapy head, good carbonation. Cloudy after pouring.
Smell is very fresh of citrus fruits.
Full flavour of mildly sweet malts and bitter hops with a kick.
9% is well covered by the flavour. This beer finish lingers, and it's warming.
Overall it's a very good tripel indeed. It can compete with a lot of powerfull Belgians in this style.

Bought it at at slijterij t fust on Bilderdijkstaat in Amsterdam

Best before. 25.01.2014

Poured it into my Weatmalle chalice.

Coarse bubbled head of 1 thick finger that reduces to a layer. Body is a clear orange with some carbonation visible

Smells sweet of pineapple and also Belgian yeast. There is also some kind of vegetable and apple. Very interesting and complex nose but clearly on the sweet side

Taste begins pineapple sweet then move to some pleasently bitter hops. Very slightly metallic but not disturbing. As it warms up it gets closer to a common triple and sweetness seems less dominant.

Carbonation is refreshing and texture is smooth never watery.

This is a big surprise. I thought that I knew the Triple style pretty well but this one though being clearly a Triple really goes somewhere different. The pineapple sweetness makes it quite unique. I liked this much more than I expected. This is after all from a small relatively unknown Durch brewery. If you like Tripel and are not afraid of sweet, give this one a try if you can get it!

A clear, orange golden beer with a settling head which leaves a small layer of foam on the side of the glass.

Smell is strong malty with notes of honey and dextrinous malts. This is supported by a spicy yeast character, that has notes of clove and fruits like apricots and peaches. Through the malty smell, a light hoppy smell shines through, it has a earthy and noble smell.

Taste has a strong malty character, a full-bodied beer with a sweet and light dextrinous malt base. The yeast adds a light complexity with fruity and spicy tastes. These add cloves and peaches in the taste. A friendly tripel with a moderate bitterness.

purchased at the Alien Brewing Company in Den Haag.
exp: 8/18/12

A: Fluffy white single finger head, slightly cloudy, tidal rising carbonation, medium tea orange/brown.
S: Elusive yeast but it's simultaneously present and overpowering. Like an almost invisible but undeniable presence. And that really masks everything underneath. But there is some grain and honey sweetness underneath. Odd.
T: Not at all sweet. Different from most tripels. Definitely more grainy malt. Quite bready. Alcohol is pretty well masked, but it has this heaviness that lets you know you're drinking something high in alcohol. It tastes of quality, but it's personally too heavy/intense for me.
M: Particularly nice, sort of soft but the carbonation is particularly beautiful the way it slides down your tongue.
O: Heavy, intense but good.

I bought this beer a few months ago in a brewery in the south of Holland. I am a triple beerlover so this one was good to try.

This tripel is an unfiltered beer with only the best natural ingredients.

Soft taste with a cloudy darkyellow fluid. Little head and little carbonation. This is quit a good triple for Dutch standard. If you see it's no problem to try it.
