A reddish brown beer with an initial big head, which settles into a small ring of foam on the side of the glass. A moderate amount of carbonation is visible.
The smell is sweet malty with distinct caramel malt notes. The yeast adds a peppery and spicy smell, maybe some traces of diacetyl, a bit butter smell.
Taste is malty with a biscuity and caramel malty taste. A full-bodied beer with a sweet and sticky mouthfeel. The yeast appears Belgian with the peppery flavors and some diacetyl. The beer is not very complex, but for a Belgian pale ale this beer fits the style perfectly.
