Collaboration with Beavertown
Together with our friends at Beavertown, we’ve taken the building blocks of their gamma ray apa and brewed a lager with them, throwing in a few extra hops for fun.
This unholy mash-up is all about collaboration. It’s Hells Lager with a gamma ray fired at it or Gamma Ray as a helluva lager.

Has the look of a really nice lager, nice looking bottle and such. The taste is rather disappointing, very below average-average tasting.

330ml bottle bought from Lighthouse Wines, Jordanstown
Poured a very pale, crystal clear, light golden yellow colour... White head poured fairly big and foamy and a good steady stream of carbonation bubbles maintains a good thickish coating throughout... decent amount of sticky lacing...
Aroma - Quite sweet grainy malts, bready, nice peppery and floral hops, spicy fruits (light lemons, apples), some saltiness, light honey sweetness, lots of cut grass notes..
Taste - Quite a lot of peppery and grassy hop bitterness, quite tart fruits (lemons, tart apples), some honey, nice light biscuit maltiness, herbal notes, salty traces...
Feel - Light and crisp... Light body... Pretty refreshing and drinkable - very sessionable
Overall - A good, clean and very drinkable lager.... nothing groundbreaking but very drinkable... worth a try...
