Overall a very drinkable, well rounded stout. Reminds me of Guinness but with a sturdier, richer and somewhat saltier flavor.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aroma is a smooth, brewed coffee and bakery dough blend with a light smoke quality. It pours a deep, dark, opaque black with a light tan, dense, near solid head that has great retention and great lace. The taste is a medium / medium high bitter and medium light sweet. It's texture is watery with a light fizz. The medium body is toasty with flavors of coffee, caramel, nuts, a light dark chocolate note, and burnt bread underneath. It finishes nutty with dark chocolate notes and a dry, astringent quality. The aftertaste has a bakers chocolate character with light tones of nuts and caramel.

Pint at Far Rockaway, Shoreditch, London (£5):
Smooth & easy to drink, it definitely reminded me of Guinness more than most dry stouts do; it's almost a craft version of it & a good alternative to it as well.

Great Stout, dark and just enough roasted chocolate malt.
