A 30 year anniversary beer brewed in collaboration with Tamarack Brewing to celebrate 30 years of the Calgary Flames winning the Stanley Cup.
Appearance - Pours a deep copper amber with three fingers of off-white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, citrus, and floral hops, bready malts, caramel, citrus fruits, hint of other dark fruits, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, citrus, and floral hops followed by the bready malts and caramel. The citrus fruits, hint of other dark fruits and earthy yeast finish off the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and malts lingering.
Overall - A pleasant and engaging brew that packs a punch from the hops and sweetness from the malts. A nice ode commemorating the Flames lone Stanley Cup victory.
